KAKADU PLUM = VITAMIN C, ELASTICITY, COLLAGEN, REPAIRS UV DAMAGE, REDUCES PIGMENTATION
It’s my passion and tugs on the core of my being to write to you today. What exciting times we live in in terms of discovering what some have known for centuries.
Science has identified the Aboriginal bush food, Kakadu plum as the world’s richest natural source of vitamin C, which makes it an excellent ingredient in skincare products.
A native of Arnhem Land in Northern Australia, you’d be interested to know that the Kakadu plum is also called Gurumal, Gubinge, Billygoat Plum or Murunga by indigenous Australians, who have been using it for thousands of years as a traditional antiseptic and healing remedy, as well as a gourmet bushfood. We’ve only just caught on and thankfully get to share in the natural benefits.
Studies show the concentration of vitamin C in Kakadu plum to be as high as 3200-5000mg/100g (compared with 50mg/100g for oranges). Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant and is essential for the formation of proline, an amino acid that is required to make collagen. This also helps reduce wrinkles and improves skin texture, reduces skin damage caused by free radicals and protects skin against UV damage.
Kakadu plums medicinal and anti-aging properties are exceptional. The antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal activities within shows anti-inflammatory and… anti-tumour activities. Makes you want to eat bucket loads of it. Antioxidants encourage elasticity and suppleness in aged skin and helps stop the breakdown of collagen.
Kakadu plum is so great I say it is magical and why it’s in just about all of our CELL INFUSE facial care range. STEMULATE, Regenisis Vitamin Serum, Hydrating Cleanser, and Velvety Soft Primer. I’ve loaded exceptional amounts in my products as I want them to work for you & I want you to experience the great benefits.
I’D LOVE TO HEAR WHETHER YOU’VE NOTICED A DIFFERENCE IN YOUR SKIN SINCE MAKING THE CHANGE TO ORGANIC PRODUCTS WITH CELLULARLY EXTRACTED NATIVE AUSTRALIAN EXTRACTS SO PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT BELOW.
